The Pink Door's stage is set and waiting for Snake Suspenderz' very first gig as a quartet!
Note that Thaddeus was using an acoustic guitar through an amp. Before our month of Wednesdays was up he'd switched over to his wood-bodied resonator.
Though we've all been playing a long time, there was a bit of nerves for our "new debut," mainly because we were so excited about having our first gig at such a Seattle legend as the Pink Door. We squeezed ourselves onto the stage and launched right into Say Hello To Mr. Snake.
Thad blew a hella good solo (and that caught their attention)! You can check out a recording of the song (though it wasn't recorded at this gig).
We made new fans...
...of all sorts and ages, and the folks at the Pink Door treated us to a fabulous dinner every night after we played.
I think they must have liked us, because the invited us back for a couple Fridays in September (where this last photo was taken).
Hope they'll invite us back some time!
Thanks much to Lucifer Doherty for most of the photos and to Rossana's un-named friend for the last one.
